question about my jill

i have just got a jill from a friend it has very resently been lined and i got it as soon as the kits were ready to be seperated. that was a week or so ago and her back end has started to swell up as tho she is back in heat. but i cant see how she can be haveing had kits not that long ago.

anyone know whats going on?

they come back in pretty rapidly when the kits are gone , sometimes when a jill looses a litter or she kills them she can come back in withing a few weeks , they will be going out of season naturally fairly soon, just watch her back end , keep the cage nice & clean for her & best of luck with her :thumbs:

They can come into season 3/4 times a year now even after having kitts they can come back in as you have found out you might be better finding a snipped hob to bring her out as she could be in season till october till the dark nights start coming in
