Bobba_fett 117 Posted August 13, 2009 Report Share Posted August 13, 2009 i have just got a jill from a friend it has very resently been lined and i got it as soon as the kits were ready to be seperated. that was a week or so ago and her back end has started to swell up as tho she is back in heat. but i cant see how she can be haveing had kits not that long ago. anyone know whats going on? Thanks alot Tom they come back in pretty rapidly when the kits are gone , sometimes when a jill looses a litter or she kills them she can come back in withing a few weeks , they will be going out of season naturally fairly soon, just watch her back end , keep the cage nice & clean for her & best of luck with her Quote Link to post
The one 8,621 Posted August 14, 2009 Report Share Posted August 14, 2009 They can come into season 3/4 times a year now even after having kitts they can come back in as you have found out you might be better finding a snipped hob to bring her out as she could be in season till october till the dark nights start coming in Quote Link to post
