How many skins will i need? Should i stuff it and what with? Ive just been cleaning the skin (after i take the rabbit out ) pinning to a board and rubbing salt into it,is this ok or can someone recomend another method. bullmastiff 615
You will need to scrap as much of the meaty tissue off as possible, otherwise it'll start getting smelly. We just used to scrap them clean then wrap around a cylindrical washing up bottle with elastic bands then stuff with sticks/stones to add weight. It hardens off around the bottle, making a simple dummy. Same with Pheasant Wings, just elastic bands to hold them on.
Kay 3,709
I bet you have a draw full of odd socks, shove them in the biggest sock you have & tie a knot in the end
