new ferret

Recommended Posts

This morning whilst cleaning my ferrets out, i was in the process of cleaning my little kits hutch and had just put her in the spare hutch when i saw something near the shed :o , bloody hell its a ferret, i knew straight away it wasn't one of mine  (all the others are in a big double hutch with padlocks on :guitar: )

i managed to extract it from all the plant pots and other crap i store behind the shed and it was a nice tame sandy polecat jill, she was heavily in heat and i beleive had been feral for a week or two judging by the number of fleas (and a couple of ticks  )

anyway she ws de-flead and de-ticked this am and this pm is currently with my hoblet being taken out of heat  ^_^

previously my brother has found feral jills in heat attracted to his hobs cage and that is all i can think that drew this one into the garden

anyway i know no one keeps ferrets near me so it is a bit of a mystery where she came from, i have called the police and reported that i have found her and have spoken with the neighbours.....but unless they point anyone in my direction it looks like she is staying

would put a pic up but having problems  i have put pics on smoochers

Thats weird compo i also found a big sandy gill about 3 weeks ago she was heavily in heat and the hair on the undersid of her tail was falling out with rubbing against the wet.

i gave her to a guy i know who lives near glagow where do you live could it be the same jill ?

I had a jill turned up last year in my garden, again she was heavy in heat.

She had travelled half a mile from the owners house to mine to get to my hobs.

Just shows ferrets really do stink, cant say I had noticed, for the pong to travel all that way to attract the jill :)
