Got there hoping for a bit of cloud cover due to the full bright moon out there, but no luck. Hit the first corner and flicked the lamp on and spotted two of them nr the verge. Got down and crawled around the corner of the hedge preying that they hadnt moved and lucky enough they hadnt, lined my sights up on the closest one around 30 paces sorted my breathing out squeezed the trigger and the lovely thumb noise followed by the backwards sumersault means that i hit my target. started to move to the next location flicked the lamp on and there was the landowners wife walking there dog, dam dont she know that when i phone up that she is not allowed to leave the house, so over comes running and yapping there labrador. So knew nowt would be down there for a while so i sat down and had a smoke. Whilst sat there i could hr some rustling so flicked the lamp on to see the biggest dam beetle in the world trying to drag of a very stuborn slug, this entertained me for 20 mins or so and i then realised why i was out tonight lol so off i went to another good area and flicked on the lamp and there was a big old boy just sat there. so slowly got to my belt buckle as he looked around 35 yards away and i flicked the lamp on again squeezed the triiger and i honestly thought i missed i was sure i could here the pellet hit the grass in front of it so i stood up thinking dam it dam it. but i was wrong i could here it rustling in the grass doing the i'm dead twitching thing. i moved over and there it was with a neat little hole in his head. on lookng at this rabbit it was caked in fleas and its ears where teething with them even looked like egg sacks, so not to upset the wife as i nicked her car that night i chopped of the ears and through him with the other one.

I learnt a valuble lesson aswell. if you sit down and take your gloves off place them away and not on the grass, as a dam wood and got inside my glove and turned my little pinky part in to his bed, so when i put my hand in i let off a small squeal as my finger got bit.

Nothing else left to get so headed home. Only 2 in the bag but thats the ferts fed for a few days.

Will get some pics up tomoz.
