Kaiserdog 20
I do quite a bit of ferreting in the west mids & i've never had any problems either, if i'm unsure i just don't put the ferrets down just to be on the safe side. Quote Link to post
rosspti 2
Do a lot of ferreting here in Cornwall. Can't say we have a problem with old Brogh. If there's any fresh sign of coneys in residence then it's pretty unlikely that brogh is lodging with them! Edited August 4, 2009 by rosspti Quote Link to post
Guest busterdog
No problems with brock attacking ferret but i have been arrested for badger digging with ferrets !!! and i have friends witch have been through the same shit, they even brought there little helicopter for a look . It will only get worse with the laws on disturbing setts and jobs worth plod trying to get some browny points. Quote Link to post
max abell 198
No touch wood never had any probs with badgers We seem to incounter a fair few mink over the years one of our permissions is next to a long stream and although plenty of rabbit holes we have put the ferret down and a few mins later the fert is backing out the hole with its tail and fur spiked up hissing like feck then you see the big black bas**rd down the hole hissing back Pick the fert up and give that one a miss BUT WE DO SHOOT THE SODS IF WE ARE OUT WITH THE GUNS Quote Link to post
