Davy T 3
Before anybody says just buy a berretta or a benelli....sadly i cant afford one ...however i have been looking for a half decent alternative which is why iam asking you guys if anybody has had any experience with one of these webley 800 series semi auto's ....They seem to have it all in one package ...you can fire steel shot through them which is handy for me because i keep a female harris and it will allow me to feed her shot game which would otherwise go to the ferrets also they can come in your usual 2+1 or FAC and one last thing is they come with a lifetime warranty ....They are obviously not on par with the berretta or bennelli but for the money i think they look good value ..............or are they over rated and over priced ....any help will be gratefully received Quote Link to post
dave1372 83
I bought the 810f wildfowler when they first came out and it was ok at first but then developed problems cycling the cartridges, so not really that impressed. I gather they have improved them since then and hopefully other feedback is better. Quote Link to post
Lewdan 17
Hi mate. Got my webley 800 series about a 2 years ago, fired litterally thousands of cartridges through it--No major problems ( had the odd cartridge that would not load, but is mostly down to o/size crimp ) i have the black synthetic stock, it looks and feels good, --three choke sizes supplied (not sure what they are )i tend to use the tightest one. think i paid about £370 at the time, imo great value for money, and good pigeon and crow gun.. cheers Quote Link to post

Ric Hi Ric.....well ended up in the gunshop on friday ....had a look at the midland and also the escort and i ended up buying the escort ....now i know some folks will probably say what a waste of money but to be honest i think its a lotta gun for the money even if i do get any probs it has the 3 yr warranty ....i have been out to try the gun and already had 4 crows for as many shots....i paid £350 for the gun which is not a lot of money when you consider there was a secondhand berretta al391 synthetic for £950!!!!! ...To be honest i only use a shotgun a handful of times throughout the year as i fly a female harrishawk ......even during the season iam only out for pheasant maybe once or twice and its the same with the geese if i get two or three flights iam doing well so all in all iam happy with my purchase ....cheers Davy Quote Link to post
