adamthomas64 1 Posted July 27, 2009 Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 hi guys just recently got a small piece of permission for rabbit shooting, there area few there but as im only using a a sub 12lbs rifle i want to be getting fairly close which is pretty difficult as it an open field, what do you guys recomend, do you use hides ect what do you guys find the most effective methods for rabbit shooting regards adam Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772 Posted July 27, 2009 Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 Hi, Adam. If it's an open field with no cover, then maybe a permanent hide or two could well be the way to go. Go and have a look where the rabbits like to go. Don't take your gun, just stay back and watch. That'll give you a good idea of where's best to place your hides. Once you've built them, try to avoid the temptation to shoot for a few days, let the rabbits get used to them. Cheers. Quote Link to post
