Rabbithunter 456
went out yesterday, accompany-ing my mate with his tikka t3. Very impressive gun, and even more impressive scope on it We were stalking round the edge of a barley field when we noticed a buck in a strip of cut barley. His mind must of been on other things as he didnt notice us at all. With hearts racing, we stayed still and waited for the buck to give us the oppurtunity of a neck shot. My mate shot it at about 100 yards freestanding The buck dropped on the spot, which spooked a doe that was in the high barley, about 100 yards from the buck. We didnt have a camera in the field, so i took these photo's when i boiled the head out. Still a bit of "tidying up" to do before it gets the peroxide treatment Edited July 25, 2009 by Rabbithunter Quote Link to post

I used to "cap" the skulls, but never could get the same cut, so thought i would try cut it a different way, but i'm not too handy with the bone saw (if any, the 6 point in the middle, might of made a bronze) Quote Link to post
