lurcher lass 9 Posted July 23, 2009 Report Share Posted July 23, 2009 hiya everyone!! how was your day out? i travelled from suffolk by public transport, bus train and cab to get there! had limited cash on me so worked out that after the 18 pound for taxi fare back and the enterence fee (which wasn't too bad in comparison to some) i had a grand total of 8 pound spending miney i enjoyed the day, took some photos which i'll upload later on, i mainly watched the hounds and had a chat with lurcher people, including a very nice lady with deerhounds who lives near me who offered to meet up, had a sneak a peak at ferrets even though by rights i should be sick of them! i just have a right soft spot for them, bought a stag hunting pic for 6 pound and somehow managed to lose me 20 note at the same time it was really scary!!! so i arranged that from the train station in suffolk i could get a lift home, still had me train ticket but had to get to the peterborough train station long walk so i decided to hitch hike... i haven't hitched hike in this country before but the english seem to be nervous bout collecting anyone, didn't wait to long a man did stop but me instincts screamed at me so i waited another lil bit until someone stopped and very kindly dropped me at the station on their way home I NEED TO DRIVE there we go that was my day, but i enjoyed anyway, hopefully next year would be a tad more relaxing!!! all the best lurcher lass x x x p.s will pop photos up later on Quote Link to post Share on other sites
