litter sizes

Is it me or have litter sizes been big this year & also loads of kits being born from vasectomised hobs that have not working properly

not here im on my third litter ive had a three and two fives.

i've had a good litter this year 9 kits out of my albeno ferret but all of them hobs

Same as usual, between 4 and 6. Have a rescue Albino here who had 11 and ate the lot.

i had a litter of 14 this year

Ive had 4 unplanned litters and they had seven each

I had a litter of 10 this year. 6 jills 4 hobs.

 

Vet didnt get the vasectomy right first time last year and the hob fathered 2 unwanted littters of 10.

had 12 , only 4 survived 2 jills 2 hobs, i think it was due to change of weather though , as at when they was born it was really bad rain now suddenly we was in the heat wave , all 4 kits were ok in the and i kept one jill back for me

Thanks for your imput everyone, i have heard of at least 4 vasectomys either not working or reversing this year which is a bloody pain

Anybody ever had a problem with there vasectomised hob getting a swolled testicle ?????

ivehad 2 litters this year 1 of 7 but 1 died and 1 of 4 all going strong up to date

Yes mine did it was testicular cancer, he was castrated but had to be pts as the cancer had also infected other parts of his body

Mine had to have a ball removed £ worth but the other one is swelling up now .But ive heard of a few others as well .
