byrney 2
I've had my S410 for 10 months now and i bought it new, the trouble is i cant seem to get anything better than 1 1/4" groups at 50 yrds and this is a gun which is renound for its accuracy. I have a MTC Cobra 3-9 x 50 and a Air Arms mod fitted, I think i have tried everything now, different pellet types, Bisley Mags, Air Arms Field Plus, Air Arms Diablo field, Accupel, Field & Trophy e.t.c I've tried the gun at different power levels i've cleaned and lubed the barrel, tried shooting with the rifle in a fixed possition on days with little or no wind, carefully inspected each pellet before using but still no luck. I usually get two or three off within 1/2 " then i'll get a flyer then onother flyer through the same hole and then back again to where it started I'm running out of ideas now and starting to wonder if its the gun at fault. Any ideas ? Quote Link to post
hughesey1552 0
Have you tried shooting without the silencer? maybe the pellets could be clipping the end of the silencer on their way out of the barrell? Hughesey Quote Link to post

Have you done a chrono check to make sure you have a steady ftlbs, if so & there are no large peaks & troughs you might have a barrel fault such as untrue barrel, rifling damage or damage at the muzzle crown, the only user fault I can think of is distorting pellets during loading, as for the scope go for point of aim with the rifle in a fixed position ie clamped to check for scope or user error. If silencer fitted remove & check for damage, test with silencer off. foxon. Quote Link to post

Malt 379
Try using heavier pellets. I've heard that bisley magnums excel in FAC rifles. Quote Link to post
