coneycatcher17 3 Posted July 16, 2009 Report Share Posted July 16, 2009 A local forrestry worker heard I kept ferrets as he has moved up the road from my house, I gave him my number and told me that some of the other forrestry plants had rabbit problems from time to time and told me he would mention my name and drop them my number I was well pleased has anyone else had the pleasure of working these sapling plantations?? josh-waddingham 13 Posted July 16, 2009 Report Share Posted July 16, 2009 i have done alot of woodland ferreting i have it easy in a way as i can just put my harris into a tree above set chuck ferrets down sit and wait, were as one has to setup nets and they can easily get snagged , but yes i have done alot od woodland ferreting it can be good fun and can usually give loud thumps under ground but as i have said can be a pain in teh arse ATB with your permission josh Quote Link to post

Fat-Ferret 857 Posted July 17, 2009 Report Share Posted July 17, 2009 Theres a forestry near me that holds quite a few rabbits, But its all big old trees and the branches go down the tree to near the ground, Once a month would do in the winter or you would end up a hunch back, running around on your hands and knees in the half dark, and its impossible to dig as well, But the rumbling below the ground is great! I dont know what makes it so good round trees. Quote Link to post
