stealthy1 3,964
Yo Airgunners, just got back home, been for a walk with the dogs and the Mrs to do a bit of plinking, but its never long before my mind turns to quarry, so I said to the Mrs, you and the dogs have a minute while I see if there's any thing wondering around that the ferrets might want to eat So after a short walk I could hear some thing rattling around under some brambles, a steady creep around the other side put me onto a rabbit munching grass stems, Whack! and its doing olympic style back flips that most keen athletes can only dream about so hung it up in a bush out of the way of corvids, have you ever noticed that if you leave some bait out for corvids they wont got near it, but as soon as you hang some thing you want to take home they ravage it Anyway, a little further down the feild another rabbit caught my eye, one of those that sit bolt up right watching you, the type that let you get nearly with in range and then do one into the bushes so a bit of feildcraft was called for, a modest crawl and I was in range, Whack! and its down, it was at that point that my shepherd tore past and picked up the rabbit, and ran around with it, closely forllowed by my lurcher pup, the Mrs said she'd had enough and wanted to get off home, we had to cut through some thick woodland to get back to the car, and she wont walk through it if its dark, THE WOOSS! so a steady evening by my standards, and made a bit of a change to go plinking. Keep at them people stealthy. 2 Quote Link to post

John-B 4
Nice one stealthy, it's all about learning the fieldcraft and practice more than anything else, whether thats plinking or honing your skills while out with the dogs. Quote Link to post
