Guest Dillon
Worked on the Nature reserve on Walney six yrs back for a few weeks, Bass galore around there mate. Quote Link to post
barraboy 28
careful the walneyites are a dangerous breed. spent a lot of my childhood on the farm at the southend. its good for bass all around there, if you get a chance hop over to piel you can walk it at low tide its not a bad day over there plus loads of fishermen to give you a few hints. baz 463
i wouldnt try walking around there with a lurcher, my mate was out todat on boat , he got a few, biggest was 6lb Quote Link to post
barraboy 28
south end has the gulleries, bird sanctuary, the north end has a nature reserve and an airfield, plenty of farm land on the island. the farm at south end used to be teeming with rabbits when i was a kid, i would think its pretty much the same, but no doubt the caravan park has changed things on the farm, its been years since ive been down there.
