Kay 3,709 Posted July 12, 2009 Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 I have a camera with an olympus 128mg card that i stick in the front of the pc & i get the photos off it that way, well today its not playing, keep getting a seperate box come up removable disc H & an empty folder inside it saying DCIM , i have no idea how to correct this & dont have a cable to shove in the camera to get them off the device that way , any ideas what may be the problem Quote Link to post Share on other sites
RaiderBoy 19 Posted July 12, 2009 Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 when i plug my phone camera in the DCIM folder comes up to it just takes while for the pictuers to load the only way you will know if its empty is that it will say in small black writing (Empty) anyway that camera is really out to get you kay. SportingShooter 0 Posted July 12, 2009 Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 Push the card into the front as normal. Leave it for perhaps 30 seconds or more. Then go to "My Computer" and select the card. The DCIM folder is what the card is called and the photos should load in there eventually Quote Link to post Share on other sites

ArchieHood 3,692 Posted July 12, 2009 Report Share Posted July 12, 2009 kay when i plug in my sd card i get a message saying " card inserted ", when i want to remove the card i click on the same box in my toolbar and click "safely remove hardware" otherwise the computer sometimes gets confused not knowing if theirs a card to be read or not Quote Link to post Share on other sites
