aaronpigeonplucker 32 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Share Posted July 11, 2009 hi all, is it possible to convert aand s400 to an s410 oris it not woth the hastle? i went down to the gunshop and tried out the s200 and s400 and decided the s400 was the one for me. its just the shop owner said i would need a multishot for hunting which i think is not nesecary. your views? thanks, Aaron. You can however make them into multishot but as said they are manual indexing. I had an s400 for years for rabbiting amongst other things, it was a brilliant gun. You dont need a multishot for hunting, it does sometimes make things easier but reloading a mag whilst lamping is a pain in he ass. It sounds to me like your local gun shop is trying to make more money out of you. Stick with the s400 mate, cant fault it for anything. Regards, Sam Quote Link to post
the Verminator 0 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Share Posted July 11, 2009 hi, as said above u can get multishot kits for them. you dont NEED a multishot for hunting but they make life easier, for example, if you have 2 or 3 rabbits out, shoot 1 and another stops on the edge of it burrow and its still in range you can reload and shoot it quickly, with a single shot it takes a lot longer.
