pikey2983 2 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Share Posted July 9, 2009 if i have only got 15 metres to set my sights at home how many clicks up on my sight would i have to do to make it 30 metres shooting distance can it be done like this. i have permisssion but if i try setting my sights there all the rabbits would run off before i get a chance to shoot them. Lee85 44 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Share Posted July 9, 2009 with the clicks etc its best to do one at a time, be confident that your not shaking the rifle and see how far the click took it. I normally do a click then shoot a pellet - see result - another click - shoot- click - untill i'm happy. Where i shoot theres a tree felled at standing shooting position height, so I put my gunbag over it, rest the rifle on top and put a paper target on a tree 35 yard away and go from there.
