The safety re-set under the trigger guard must slot into the mechanism on the action, or it'll bend and bugger up the re-set when you tighten the screws. Cheers. sound advice i did it the first time and the safety was wedged on, so i have learnt hw90 owners. pull the safety lever (small silver coloured plated with a v shape missing) forward till it clicks then put on the gaurd as far as possible and while keeping pressure on, pull the trigger to release it. the guard should now line up perfectly and screw on in position. you live and learn hey Quote Link to post
