pointer28 1
I'm slowly melting, haven't had a decent kip in days with the heat at night. Spent the last two days working outside in the midday sun and it's going ten rounds with Tyson, absolutely knackering!

Guest Ditch_Shitter
Quite honestly, niether really bothers me. It's been up to 25c in here (what ever that is in F) and that's never seemed a problem. I sleep fine. Dogs are fine. Flies are a f***ing pain, but they can be dealt with, when they start to get on my nerves. What I do; I stay in doors much of the day and do my outside work in the later evening, when it's cooled down a bit. Then I work away on this thing for most of the night. Check my traps just after dawn ~ Nothing I hate more than finding a fly blown carcass! ~ and then sleep till noon or so. Wake up. Work on here and quietly frig about till it cools ..... 'Winter'? Best time of all! I can walk around b*llock naked right now. But that's my lot. Can't get any cooler. Come winter, my kit comes into its own! I have double ventile and waterproof boots. As many warm layers as I need. Stoke the range and fire up when I'm in here. Who could ask for more? My biggest pisser though is washing my laundry. I need to fire the range up for the hot water - As F***ing If, in This weather! But, come the winter, when I can heat as much water as I'd ever want; How the f*** to get the stuff dry?! Dutch barn does its best. But you can't beat sunshine and a fresh, gentle breeze. Er ..... yeah; I smell a bit rich just now!

Guest Ditch_Shitter
Tip for you, Mouse; Wear some sort of face / mouth mask, mate. I sometimes take my old bike and ride about the lanes. If you're doing a bit of speed and happen to have your mouth open just a bit ..... Fly hits the back of your throat and what do you reactivley do? Cough, choke, splutter, gag - Both hands snatching at your throat! I wear an old dust mask.
