Crow decoying

Recommended Posts

Got up sunday at 3.30am,to get to the farm before first light,i had seen a few crows about so i thought i would try and bait them in.

Gets to the farm, puts the decoy out and the dead rabbit, got in the hide about 10 mins passed when two crows pitched in and started making a right racket,so took aim with the .410 and dropped one, only a single barrelled shottie so by the time i had another cartridge out my pocket the second crow had gone.

Looked at the dead one and it was lying on its back so went out to put it out as a decoy,as i did another crow which i did not see :censored::doh: flow off, never came back,he know i was there. So packed up back home and back to bed for 6.00am .Must say though it was bloody warm even at that time in the morning  .

well done, y dont you chop that gun in for a double barreled 410? you could have had a left and right erlier on

I would mate but the gun belonged to my grandad who died last year,so i don't really want to get rid of it.

Will have to see about investing in a double barrel one though
