Just thought i would update that there are two less magpies around my area now.

 

Heres a tip. if you get a magpie out your window move it to somewhere visible in your garden and keep watch. this is what i did and before you know it another will drop down to check it out. They will tend to land in a nearbye tree. in my case it did but i waited and very quickly it landed on the floor presenting a safe shot. and it dropped stone dead next to the other.

this may sound stupid, but do you recon shiney bits of foil would work? they are suposed to be atracted to shiney things, so get a dead tree rat, n put a bit of bling on it and you should be laughing

I would think it works very well and that is probably the reason why it is illegal.

but does it matter if you have a shinny dog bowl in the garden?or is that also ilegal ;)
