kerryb 103
Quite simple could I have some ideas on big harbour mullet fishing... i.e rigs, terminal tacle, baits times etc Hello mate, 4 x loaves of cheap white bread. 3 x loaves in a bucket with water for groundbait. Then groundbait a cupful of slushy porridge mix every 5 mins for about an hour. Meanwhile set up a carp rod and fixed spool reel with 6lb line. Floatfish a grayling float down to a size 8/10 hook with a 20p size piece of bread at 4-10ft deep. Next wait and pull your hair out! Net required. Worked for me occasionally but worth the the wait at times!! Quote Link to post
8shot 192
same as above BUT instead of bread on ur hook..try a small bit of mackeral flesh with no skin works a treat atb Quote Link to post
Fat-Ferret 857
I have had a lot of success using very small bits of mackerel with skin, free lined on Kamasan B980 size 2, with braid...Bread has also worked, as well as a bread fly on the fly rod. To draw them in I use bread with pilchard oil, tuna, or anything oily mxed with the bread, pushed into an onion bagnhung on the harbour wall. Quote Link to post
