jazz_11 5
right cheers lads so aslong as th land has been previously deemed safe then its ok... im not in the club yet but i am hoping to its just i dont want to have to get my fac then have to mess around with putting other farms on which i could have done at the start. im ok with one farm as its already been deemed safe as the landowner has a fac... for example say i get accepted in the club i go on one of there shoots the land wont have to be on my ticket but it has to be fac approved.. sorry this whole things is confusing me Quote Link to post

mutsnuts 0
as this will be your first fac application then your certificate will be of a closed type . on application you will only need one named farm to shoot on which is fac rated by gwent police , the land owner will have to give you permission to use his name and address to apply . once you have your certificate then you can shoot on any land which has been approved by gwent police for fac`s as long as you have the landowners permission . you will however have to contact gwent police who will confirm the land is rated for fac and a letter of confirmation will then be sent to you . after a period of four years you can apply to have your certificate changed to an open certificate , you will need to send your certificate back to gwent police along with a letter requesting a cert. change and your reasons for doing so . gwent police will then check how much ammo you have used during the four year period , if you haven`t used enough to warrant a fac then you will be refused . if and when you get your open cert. you may then shoot on land that has not been passed for fac use by gwent police , but you will still need the landowners permission each and every time you use your firearm on his land . hope this helps jazz . a word of warning though , gwent police are very strict on fac applications . just out of interest , what is the pest control club you are joining ?
