Rabbithunter 456 Posted June 15, 2009 Report Share Posted June 15, 2009 I think the "front bushes" need replacing there is a slight "knock" when hitting pot-holes etc.... if i look into the wheel arch, i can see 2 "bushes" are these more commonly known as "wishbone bushes" And are they easy to replace for a DIYer? Cheers vw what? the bushes themselves are an absalute c-u-n-t!!! could be a droplink? this attaches the strut to the antiroll bar, turn the steering on a hard lock and grab hold of the link and pull it, if there is slight movement thats probably gonna be your noise.
