ellir0305 9
ok my HW90 theoben has been mention a few times today, but i was wondering: it is a theoben gas ram gun, therefore it should retain its full power once coccked for a considerable period of time however i have noticed that when the fun is fired within about 30 seconds of being cocked the power is fine however after this time it drops off a little does anyne know why this is, my only thought is the seal on the piston is going? any advice is greatly appreciated ps. mods i am not trying to up the power and such suggestions will be ignored. i just want to diagnose the problem thanks rob Quote Link to post
LOGUNSOLO177 0
You would need to chrono it mate!! Could be a bit of paranoia?? Quote Link to post
smokin 0
it ccould be everso slight wear on the ram seal without a chrono result hard to say - but - they are surprisingly basic if youve ever seen one - on the power subject the seals on non fac rams will knacker very quickly if pushed over their intended use. as for the ram iirc they are set to approx 50bar for 12ftlb in .22 atb chris Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
Hi, mate. As has been said, the rams are always under pressure even at rest. If it's leaking, it'll leak all the time and you'll very quickly lose power. Gun shop, crono. Only answer really. Cheers. Quote Link to post
