hi all after a bit of advice my springer bitch started having pups at about 1 this morning 1 was born 45 minutes later. its now 5 hrs later and no more have appeared .how long should i wait before i should start to worry. the bitch is 3 yaers old and its her first litter, i know its possible for her to only have 1 but from the size of the pup there must be more she was quite big. cheers all

Just go with your gut reaction if you think theres a problem act accordingly , hope the bitch isnt having any problems & you have a healthy litter :thumbs:

hi all after a few problem in the begining the bitch is doing ok, second pup appeared bout 10 only the head could be seen so with a little help got it out ,big pup but dead.been on the go with the bitch all day pup number 7 just arrived all ok and feeding

Its a worrying time i had a litter of springers 3 week ago she only had 3 but i thougt she had done at 2 after checking at midnight the second pup being born at 7pm and [bANNED TEXT] i went in at 6am their was the third one.atvb
