Geoff.C 0
Hello jaygee, welcome to the site. With your budget, you have plenty for a brand new Lanber or Betinsoli and others of similar standard, and get plenty of change. Personally, I would be looking to buy a slightly used Beretta, Miroku or Browning, as these are rather better guns and will last for many years. My own choice would be a 686 Beretta, as they are just so nice to shoot. They shoulder, point and swing really well. You will have probably used 32 grm shells previously, but nowadays, most people use only 28 grm (1 oz) or even 24 grm. They do the job well and don't knock you about at all. Welcome back to shooting, but don't expect to be as good as you were right away. I had a lay off of only 18 months when I left a clay club, but when I started clays again I found I was just sooooooooooooo slow. I am back in "A" class now, but it has been a slog.
