mad al 146
Now our Posties are "salt of the earth" types and can depend on them 100% . So when I send a cheque 1st class post it gets there every time and........ no feckin more it seems once it leaves this locality feck knows , I've done some diggin and our mail is passed on to a "city" (a bit of a geezer type place) and then it's a bit hit or miss So it is not so feckin surprising that they are fighting for their very existence

arcticgun 4,548
Best of using recorded delivery for letters and small amounts of cash, anything larger send c/o royal mail special delivery, which can beinsured to cover any losses (and there never is this way or damage), I didn't know until recentley that the post office subs work oout to other courier services, bit shoddy really and lacks accountability, that said though you should not have to insure stuff, as you have paid for a service therefore it should be done, atb Richard

What made my mind up was watching a youtube vid of two tits in a TNT warehouse pick up a parcel and drop kick it and then play football with it, (was a bit funny), the few quid extra is well spent, when your sending an £800 air rifle to some fella who's paid for it, but your right we shouldn't have to pay more to get honesty out the post office, greedy tw@ts, atb Richard
swanseajack 228
Having spent nearly 10 years selling on the bay and sending 1000's of parcels, packets etc I have never lost one, ever !! had a few monkey's try to tuck me up and Royal Mail have sorted it for me... had one item damaged, on recollection it might have been my fault and one £1000 Beswick shire go missing !! parcel delivered minus the contents,(over a christmas period,) but they paid me out for it !!! So!! in my eyes, hat's of Royal Mail !! I worked for a mail order company before that and Securicor were the worst ones for losing parcels, now they were bent !! don't know what they're like these days !! ,
