Burrow Blasting

Recommended Posts

one of my land owners bought one of these for moles, paid alot of cash for it too. i didnt realise it was illigal to blow runs untill you'd cleared them so when i found out i let him know is response was whats the point in blowing the runns if you cant kill them in the process. i told them they're going to be banned very soon and to get rid real quick so not to lose to much cash on it. It worked he got rid within a week, good job cause im sure he'd of turned it on the rabbits once he got bored chasing moles around with it.

two days on from my first post.

Got a complaint from my permission that i had left a shot rabbit on his lawn.

surprised i went round and found not one but two bodies.

burrow blasted rabbits. one with bleeding eyes, the other with a burn mark on its back and blooded ears.

no pellet or shot damage, they had just wandered into the guys field and died.

i showed the damage to the owner. got a sorry but that is not the point. that makes 5 burrow blasted rabbits all in a disgusting state.

i'd happily s**t on all users of these blasters!!!!

What a load of ucking ankers!!!!!

:big_boss:

Man has been hunting for centuries living off the land, the hunting man is also the born conservationist maintaining his earth so that it will provide food year after year.

the modern man is a greedy selfish being that does not think of the future.

comercialised pest control is just modern man's greed not seeing animal's and potential food, JUST POUND SIGNS.

Try eating money when the food runs out!

Hunting land is running out hunters will hunt for free but are refused point blank.

Respect for your quarry is all that is asked!

Sorry if this is a bit deep but i feel that it is the correct mentality.

We are the only ones that can conserve our countryside and protect our way of life!

you can have fun as well :yes:

what are they what do they do comming from the name its bad

They do exactly what it says on the tin,

They fill the burrow with gas, then ignite it blowing the shite out of the burrow and anything unfortunate enough to be in it.

jeeeesus... sounds dangerous to me!!! its like something out of the A team lol... its too bad they couldnt spend a bit of time and clear the place out first :(

Farmer round our way got one, worst of all before he got it he got a demonstration from the company selling them, walked straight up to the burrow(now this was lifting with rabbits there is no way you wouldnt see 40-50 rabbits running around the warren) and blasted the feck out of it, in full knowledge it was occupied, now if the companies selling them are demonstrating them in this way, there is not a lot of hope that farmers will use them in the correct manner.

Just like to add three weeks later i peg snared around this warren on the outlying runs and picked off 26, so i dont even think they are that effective

Write to DEFRA or the RPA and report the farmer under cross compliance, he'll get an inspection and hit hard in the pocket, as the cash will be taken from his single farm payment direct. :clapper:
