Swampy 147 Posted June 3, 2009 Report Share Posted June 3, 2009 That side of the fence remark really did not sit well with you did it buddy.It was not a dig at you at all it was a statment was all and yes it is about class your right and if your truthful you know what i mean,but as for your corner of the world and you loving it nowt wrong with that at all and i am sure you have given lads parmission to go on your land but most dont and it is because of class,ok you could say its down to things that have happened in the past poachers travlers etc but again it dose come down to what side if the fence they think you are from. A fair point. I'm all for the removal of "fences". If people think I'm from the "other side" then so be it. A shame but I guess thats the way of the world. we are not all made the same, life would be pretty boring if we were. I don't think that class will ever be removed and in some cases I don't think it should. Ironically it was the socialist/class war faction of the gov't that banned hunting on the basis that it was "the toffs" that took part. They completely ignored the working class man who hunt with ferrets/birds and longdogs. Me I am opting out of any class differences. I treat others in the same way that I would like to be treated, regardless of class background. I will be as polite to a scruffy p***y as I would the landed gentry. rebell 0 Posted June 4, 2009 Report Share Posted June 4, 2009 surley if your on councill or public land it isnt classed as poaching, i was under the impression that the poaching laws were revoked however now they catch you and bugger you up worse with armed trespass? so if its true than all somebody would have to do is go out with fert with no knives, guns or any impliments like that. also i read somewhere that daytime was classed as 1 hour before sunset and 1 hour after sunrise, night is classed as 1 hour after sunset and 1 hour before sunrise, so with this in mind poaching is illeagle (condradicts what i said earlyier but you know [bANNED TEXT] i mean) in the daytime and nighttime, so [bANNED TEXT] about the 2 hours in between day/night? funny what loopholes you can find if your really nit picking and bored isnt it!!! haha cheers chirs Quote Link to post
