Guest Frank
Pic below of my sucsess at dawn this morning. I have been after the 2 foxes for the past 3 weeks or so, got my opertunity this morning. Had to use my CZ .22lr with PH mod and Winchester subs, as i was right next to the farmers house and i did not want to wake him up. Set up on some bales over looking the cut feilds at dawn, the farmer spoted them the evening before. They were taking his Kiakie cambell ducks and had taken lambs in the past. I shot 6 cubs the past 2 to 3 weeks and now wanted the parents. I spoted them, as soon as light broke, one in the feild near me and the other in the next feild. They were a good distance away to start with, i did what came into my head first, made a bunny in distress call on the back of my hand, it did the trick Had to stop the first one,as it was coming in like a rocket, with a shout from me, ping, pop, 1 dead fox. The second fox was by now in the feild i was in and was slowly trotting in, then sat down about 90yds away , right i thought, i changed the tone on my hand and it came running in, got t to stop within 40yds, Ping, pop, 2nd dead fox, excellent. Then, a grey crow (carrion in the Uk) landed next to the fox, got that too . Then a Jackdaw dicided to bomb the grey crow and fox, big mistake, when it landed, i got that too. Made my day. Frank.
