mad al 146
Experienced some of this just now, well to be more precise a couple I was talking to did. An elderly lady across the road from us is not very well and we keep an eye on her, I go and have coffee/chat every morning with her. The "couple" are her daughter & son-in-law who are as much use as a chocolate feckin tea pot Today I'd had enough of them tarting about and not getting on the lady's case, so went down and told them so. During the conversation the lady in question asked what we were having for nosh tonight, "Duck" I said, to which the daughter chirped, "Expensive tastes in your house then!" Now when I told her what we ate and how it ended up on our plates I don't think they quite grasped that not all folk think everything comes via M&S and feckin Tesco No wonder she has a lot of facial hair I thought to myself Anybody else had this sort of "do people actually hunt anymore?" response then? Malt 379
I know, rabbit seems to be 'in' on all these cookery programs lately. Some folk think that you're being posh if you tell them your about to tuck into a coney!
