Hedge_hunter27 18
Had a look to Amanda and Scott’s this morning, arrived just after 11 a.m. The dogs and gear were loaded into the pick up and off we went to the pig farm for a spot of ratting. On arrival we were greeted by the farmer who showed us where he had seen a few rats and as it had begun to rain we started inside the pig shed. The power washer was used to flush the rats out from under the pig pens. Around 11 rats were had in the sheds . We then moved outside and thankfully it had stopped raining but we had quite a bit of cover to contend with. Another 7 were had in amongst the cover using the dogs noses and shovel as the rats didn’t seem to want to bolt with the smoker. The pup sure does like his rats . A great couple of hours with nice people for the invite. EOD Edited May 16, 2009 by Hedge_hunter27 Quote Link to post
