provarmint 25
Loaded .308 rounds with KVB-7 russian primers for a while now, igniting Vit N140 powder, they seem to be quite consistant. Now I am thinking of trying CCI BR2's. Any views on these primers ? PV. Quote Link to post

dave424 0
I think he means the extreme spread of the speed lower ES means more consistent and greater accuracy Quote Link to post
provarmint 25
I think he means the extreme spread of the speed lower ES means more consistent and greater accuracy Sorry for being stupid , I've never chronographed my load, started with a load recommended by a very experienced fellow shooter and worked up until accuracy tailed off, all at magazine length. Used Lee size dies originally, then changed to Forster bench rest dies for more consistant neck tension. Curiosity will now make me chrono my load, and hopfuly on to better things. Thanks Guys Quote Link to post
provarmint 25
Right as promised, chrono'd my load using Br2's ES = 35 Average velocity = 2758 fps ATB, PV. Edited February 19, 2020 by provarmint Wrong info Quote Link to post
