primers

[provarmint 25]

Loaded .308 rounds with KVB-7 russian primers for a while now, igniting Vit N140 powder, they seem to be quite consistant. Now I am thinking of trying CCI BR2's.

Any views on these primers ?

Sorry for being stupid , I've never chronographed my load, started with a load recommended by a very experienced fellow shooter and worked up until accuracy tailed off, all at magazine length. Used Lee size dies originally,then changed to Forster bench rest dies for more consistant neck tension. Curiosity will now make me chrono my load, and hopfuly on to better things.

Right as promised, chrono'd my load using Br2's

ES = 35

Average velocity = 2758 fps

you need to be aiming of An ES of about 20 or below anything below is excellent....
