welshboy454 3 Posted May 9, 2009 Report Share Posted May 9, 2009 Now that is a difficult question as I have had 3 spaniels 4 terriers and two lurchers. Currently I have a ESS dog which suits my purpose now but I think the first lurcher was the best all round dog. An airdale Xgreyhound father with a whippetX labrador mother. Only 22inches he would trash like a spaniel and raise all game birds, retrieve ,lamp rabbits/foxes and mark holes. I was gutted when he was run over in his prime. Quote Link to post
