Is Jill expecting?

Recommended Posts

Hi all just wondering if you could shed any light on the situation i have?

me pal paired my hob with his jill on 26th march n left them for few day, she has been fed well n looked after n started showing signs of being pregnant, built nest & tits have swollen up like u would expect. 42 days would take u to this weekend n she has lost her chubbyness & to me looks very slightly pear shaped in lower body but still no kits? he said he cant even feel any movement when handling her. Has she lost them or ate them or never even been pregnant?

take day 1 as the day you seperated them and that may mean she still has a few days to go

do they lose size much when they due to give birth?

not really but bare in mind that even a jill carrying a good half dozon may not be huge or a huge jill may be carrying a couple of kits , my old jill was very big but only had 2 kits

I aint always sensible  just give her a few more days as they tend to say between 40 & 44 days as the gestation period

She might not be carrying a lot so she wont look chubby every time you feed her pick her up and check for blood stains under her tail and then you will know for sure if shes had them ate them whatever
