  1. Nice one matey if your after bream it might be cheating but long island lake at earith has some nice ones i had a 75lb bag of em with a few tincas mixed in its brilliant with the feeder rods there !
  2. the most heavy i would say is 29lb dont think there are any 30s
  3. Try to find clear areas mate not necesarily gravel just clear of weed areas (if there are any) if not you could try baiting your spots and letting the fish clear their own area. Bunging it all in a pva bag is definetly a good tactic but not the best because it can very often all pile into the weed not to bee seen by the carp, and it wont be found unless they are on a proper feed. Particles on top off the weed are good becuse theese may replicate the natural food found through out weed beds then all you have to do is present the bait by using a long hooklink so it sits on top of the weed, Bes
  4. Yep thats a good spot of the bridge there on the old bedford drain Im not sure when i will be able to go as im back to school on tuesday and am doin something sunday. But will definelty go just not sure when.
  5. Yep you can certainly fish it are you talkin about the stretch outside mepal or down sutton gault ? its all on a day ticket but if the baliff came youd be unlucky!!
  6. Hi there mate As already said unless you know what your doing i wouldnt try it in the summer they may look a fearsome predator but they are very fragile especially in the summer months. If you like we can try to organise a piking session together i may be young but ive seen alot of mistreated pike on the banks and have always offered assitance. Or on the other hand you could tell me to sod of!!

  10. No i havnt mate but i have a friend who has fished it and he rates it highly for float and feeder fishing.
  11. Hi there mate I will probably be there ive been going for 5 years now its quite a good place a few deals to be had but not as many as other shows.
  12. Where was you thinking of going mate as there are alot of waters that hold too many jacks in cambs pm if you prefer
