    I would like to second the comments above for A&M. I bought one for my HW100 a few weeks ago, and although the one I had sent had a faulty fill valve, one call and they were brilliant. They are as close to half the weight of the original and by "upgrading" to this cylinder it also changes the handling of the HW to a much more pleasant tool. I have to say its a must for any HW100 owner. I must say I don't work or have shares in A&M but credit where its due.

    Strelok is the way to go. Once set up with the information it needs it can be great fun. Ok, if you have your zero range set at say 45 yards, when you range find your target at say 80yards, if you enter that into Strelok and then look at the reticule tab it will place a dot on the aimpoint for your chosen scope. Of course this is no excuse for practice and learning your range and field skills but it does help.

    Hi John. Excuse me for butting in, October last year I bought the same rifle a full length HW100 in .177, although I found they are not overly pellet fussy as some may think, it is worth trying a few different types/brands of pellets. This guy on eBay sells a small number of each, so rather than have the expense of trying full tins at stupid money each, you can try loads at pence each.     Yep,thats just about it. You are supplied two tubes of Carbon Fibre, you strip your rifle and fit and rebuild. As said, other than looking good (of course that's a personal thing) it does not serve any purpose. My mate has one on his HW and to be honest, it does not look good (my opinion)

    I'd go with the HW, yes they are heavy but incredibly accurate and very well built. Of course there are many other options including the Air Arms range, the TX200 is a great equal for the HW97. But if you have a few extra quid, try a PCP, the worlds your oyster.
