    I'm sure my dad said it was 20 a ton in dorset other week,for mixed steel? Probally was mate like I said no point mixing it up that's why it's low put your light stuff to one pile and heavy to another but mix a bit of light in with the heavy but dont take the piss

    Mix all the light iron with some good steel girders and weigh in as shearing a or no2 steel scrap and get around 100er a ton that's the only mixing I do lol mixing the shite with the good but don't scrap ferrous at the moment just tip it on my yard to pile up had five ton sat on some ground over 2 year now and ever growing

    What's mixed fetching now. Don't know I never mix them up but ik guessing if light iron is 60 quid currently mixed will be a lot cheaper they hate sorting it plus you make more money seperating it up I pull into the yard done times and find people have tipped stainless sinks copper boilers even lead pipes in the mixed metal it's stupid
