Hi Everyone ,just to say hello to you all..i,ve been a great fan of HW80,s for over 30years now and have had many, the one i have now i,ve owned for about 8 years and i love it ..i,ve always been an outdoor person Fishing/shooting ever since i could hold a Gun/Rod which was waaay back somewhere in the dark ages.I,m retired now so have plenty of time to enjoy the outdoor life.I have only just come across this wonderful place here and look forward to being an active member here in future and hopefully making some new friends as well.All the best to you all...Ged

I,ve used my salmon rod with a 2oz lead for years and had no problems whatsoever even when using 6 feathers,i,ve had some great catches over the years with it...Good luck
