I love the great outdoors, shooting, fishing, wildlife conservation , and spending time with my mental whippets Bella,Theo and missey,oh and time with my beautiful wife and son if I get a minute . Only joking dear lol
  1. I was really shocked mate , don't no whether it's a territory thing or it's in their nature , it is over run with them by. Me though .
  2. Superb set up [BANNED TEXT] , gonna have a play about when I get a minute
  3. On the lamp last night , 3 out of 4 with myxy, and also came across a grey squirrel who was pulling a rabbit nest out of the Warren entrance and viciously attacking the young , any of you lads come across this type of aggression before ?
  4. Thanks for that matey , Ill have a sit down the weekend and try and put some ideas together
  5. Think I might look at putting a website together to try and get a few perms in my area , what costs would I be looking at .
  6. Yes I agree , its starting to come back with a vengeance by me and they don't seem to be recovering from it .
  7. Just been for a steady leisure walk with the whippets around New England in highley and I have spotted 9 rabbits with myxy , seems to be getting a grip again round these parts , and people seem to moan about field sportsman , at least the rabbits have a fighting chance being pursued by man and beast but this is horrible to see . My bitch caught them and I have bagged them up and disposed of them , any one got any views ?
  8. That's the way forward I think fair play , I worked a bit of land in ludlow area but new owners put a stop , door knocking is my new past time lol
  9. It's a Springer all the way for me , but you need to be thorough in its training,be crafty in your techniques, take advantage of the spanial being genetically programmed to please it's master, if you can crack this he/she will be a force to be recond with and your knees will thank you for it , good look

  11. Slightly, changing the swi g of things , just feeling mee feet, could some body tell me how to start a new post and how to choose a catagory ie rabbit shooting , shooting, shooting rough etc would be appreciated
  12. Catapults are fun , hope you are a good shot , it's a good way to start out , learning the habbits of the game and stalking them but would be good to progress to maybe an air rifle ,my experience a catty is hit and miss in doing the job quickly , unless you are a superb shot . Good luck.
  13. I tried that this morning, am struggling, but I will persist, but am new to this site so just feeling my feet .I've used some ground in the past rabbiting but a but city folk have bought the farm as a holiday bolt hole and it seems they want to protect every creature from field sports enthusiasts , but I here they are now over run with rabbits , part of the house has structural damage and grey squirrel have decieded to throw a party in there loft and have envited there mates . I used to repair all the stone walls , build and fit bat and bird boxes all around the woods , it does annoy me the view
  14. Hi all ,I'm looking for permission to go on land to hunt rabbits, pigeons , etc with my whippets Theo and Bella and the old faithful.22 Bsa in the highley , cleobury and bridgnorth areas , fingers crossed .
