How did you sort the bad habit of your Lurcher dropping them at your feet alive? I'm pulling my hair out with mine doing it! Thanks.

I'm after a bit of advice. My Lurcher bitch used to be quite good a retrieving a rabbit when caught on the lamp but the past few times he has been retrieving back to me within about 5 yards then placing it down (still alive) for it to run off and for him to have to catch it again. I'm stuck on how to break his very frustrating habit he's picked up. Anyone had this problem before and managed to solve it? Thanks.
