I might bring it over to Anglesey next time Matt. We came over and stayed at the Bulkeley Hotel in Beaumaris a few weeks before Covid hit our shores and promised ourselves we would come back in Sept / Oct and do a bit of sea fishing but in all honesty, I think we will not be going anywhere this year.

    Phil

You are more than welcome to come and fill your game bag on my perms when you do pal?

  2. This one of mine phil that came from si is doing 11.2 with aa fields and from a rested position did a bottle cap at 73 yards and has put the lights out on loads of rabbits between 30 and 60 odd pal. Its shooting as good now if not better than when Si sent it and i have never had it apart. Youd have to pry this from my very cold dead hands. Its coming with me in me box when im done??

  3. Id go for it pal.

Ive been gardening now for 2 and a half years after stopping the fish job and quite a few of my large gardens want me thinning out the rabbits. Ive not stopped working as ive no need to have any contact with anyone so preventing the hard work ive done in the gardens seems as important as making the gardens look nice.

Ive only had 1 tell me to hang on for a couple of weeks and sods law its me favourite pigeon perm but hey ho.

    Happy hunting pal?

  4. I never really gave the jsb heavies much barrel time in the 100 or r10 mark but the 100 bloody loved biz mags and thats all i fed her for a long time and they worked a treat. The 99 is more than happy with field diablos. I have tried the express but its just a personal thing with the fd's, ive got lots of confidence in em?

  5. Cracking shooting jimmy.

Like si said, i shoot better when im on my jack jones. I think its just coz we're paying more attention to the quarry and no pressure etc but its nice to share a good long shot or a good stalk when your out with a mate.

I was out for a couple of hours on Sunday night with the 99 and bagged 7.  2 of em were bloody cracking shots, even if i do have to blow me own trumpet but no bugger else saw em to appreciate??

  6. Ive just had a look at the article phil and its very clear that this battle is going to be very hard to win because the people behind all these opposals are clearly as thick as shit and have absolutely no idea whatsoever what it is they are talking about. They are just jumping on the eco bandwagon without considering all of the consequences to their stupid, unqualified actions. They simply cant have spent more than 5 minutes out in the woods or down a hedgerow with their eyes open to have noticed crows and maggies scanning the hedge for the nests of the very birds that ARE protected with no licence to kill them,  ie finches, blackbirds  robins etc.

These idiots will be calling for the ban on swatting fruit flies because at the end of the day, what harm are they doing????

I cannot belive these simpletons are allowed a voice, its a wonder they can wipe their own arses??

  7. In my humble opinion its an easy one to sort out overnight to avoid pages and pages of bullshit and bollocks from all angles.

Simply class woodies, crows, rooks, magpies for starters the same as rabbits where the landowner and one nominated other is obliged to contril the numbers due to the damage they cause. It really is that simple and it would stop all this tripe thats spouted on here and you tube and the news etc because it seems everyone wants to take the moral highground now its too late and be cautious and bow down to the antis. I say balls to them. Its not about being rebellious and shouting off, its about letting the nosey b#$tards see that we have common sense and conservation is a big part of what we are all trying to achieve.

    Rant over.
