  1. i no mate that's what im just trying to make my mind up on hes a young dog not even 2 yet still has a lot of years left in him and its not fair him spending most of that either in pain or dossed up on meds all the time because she said he will get arthritis early it will be hard for me tho as he is my first working dog that's been my own iv ran other dogs but they have been my dads and iv put a lot of time into him,but i suppose that's what you have to deal with in this game dogs get injured its just what happens
  2. thanks mate ill have a look through it now,she said he had done a proper job on it she held the leg and moved the joint and was surprised she said to get the amount of movement out of it that she did the dogs are sedated and they have to put alot of pressure on the leg to do it so not looking good

  4. thats what they will do mate yh cost around £500 but she said that might not even work if not there's is another op they can have but its alot more complicated and will cost a couple of thousand and i dont have that money at the moment thats for sure,also said he will develop arthritis early in life
  5. shame as hes only a young dog this season would of been a good one for him as he started off very well
  6. afternoon lads had my dog down the vets yesterday hes ruptured cranial cruiate ligament its completely snapped the vet said there's not way it will grow back she wants me to keep him caged for 6 weeks and gave me a pain killer to see if any tissue grows around the joint and holds it if not he will have to go under the knife but as hes a heavier dog there not much chance this will happen ,has anyone else,s dog had this injury and how did it heal,the vet said there's a good chance he wont be running anywhere near like he was before the injury :/ just the way it goes i suppose
  7. iv been honest with saying it was stopping on the hedge line,so not i was not lying to people anyone that wanted to buy it was welcome to come watch the youngster have a few runs
  8. yh i had the dog 2 weeks i ran it twice so no i haven't ran it to death the dog stopped on the hedge very very good chance it will not get out of it,% of the work i would of been doing would of been lamping so better it go to a home were she will be ran daytime okay and you ask why i brought i brought it because i wanted to mate okay i dont care what anyone else thinks i dident buy it thinking ay up better not buy it just in case i don't get on with it and the lads of thl get ratty about it ....the dog come with no papers so i dident realy no f**k about its breeding its gone now anyway

  11. there's nothing wrong with the dog yh it stops on the hedge its a day dog not a lamping dog so better me moaning at it not being a lamping dog i better off let someone have it that's going to put her to her full potential

  14. no mate a few interested tho a lad that has plenty of work for her traveled down last night to get her i did not get what i asked for her but it was not about the money i just wanted her to go somewhere were she will get plenty of work
  15. right lads iv got to sell this bitch 10.5 month old like i say on a previous post iv honestly only lamped her twice she killed on the first night but not the second she was stopping on the hedge line 2 reasons for sale my older dog has hurt his leg and i need the money to take him to the vets and secondly i just don't have the day work here for the bitch that she deserves shes 24tts very laid back bitch walk well on the lead fine with other dogs,jumps great recall for a saluki and will also walk to side,perfect with stock there's not much i can fault with her just just needs time i payed £300

  17. cheers gaz yh i defiantly prefer her with her coat on now iv shaved her lol but bloody sick of coming home with 1000s of them stupid Fuc**ng stick ball things stuck to her twigs the lot,and its a nice place mate yh all ways loads about and they have just started to cut the fields.have to keep the dogs on the lead in the day tho as there usually a few walkers about ...i enjoy just watching the deer anyway
