Do I look for burrows I've saw a few that are to big to be mice just wondering if the dog shows interest do I go about digging , may sound stupid but I've only ever worked my dog lifting bales and farm rubbish ect

As the title says I only have ever worked my plummer around farm rubbish and bales , I have found out a meat factory near to me have rats out the back of it and I have permission for farmers fields surrounding and I was wondering how I go about finding rats without going into the factory grounds as I'm sure they will be in the fields as I see plenty cats mooching about

I'm not running dogs it's for shooting was just wondering if anybody knew how it was for distance ect and thought maybe somebody on this part of the forum would have used them before

Going to mora for a new lamp the misses is buying as an Xmas present been looking at the clu-lite shootalite anybody got any experience with these?posted this in the optics and sightpart of the forum to but I thought guys with running dogs would be able to help as well.cheers

As title says thinking of selling my air rifles after Xmas and applying for my fac ticket been looking at a mag tech 7022 was wondering if this is any good to start with

On the subject looking to get a clulite shooterlite for Xmas don't mind carrying a battery as I always go shooting with somebody so shots each with the lamp, but I'm looking for a light to use with the dog as well as shooting any body got experience with this light ?

Don't know if its a daft idea but would a red bicycle light ie the rear light be good for shooting rats I only have a 1million candle power torch getting a decent light kit with filters for Xmas but would like a wee red light for shooting in the barns

Mines is good a little to strong mind but the thing that impresses me most about him is his nose

exactly the kind of reply I was after think ill give it a go see how he does didn't go out tonight ended up in the pub for a few jarslamping with a terrier is good sport especially if its rough ground were the dog has abit of a chance.Had some great nights out with my terrier and the lads with the hounds any sitter id walk up with her an slip her its good the watch the wee terrier trying its best!Its a good way to keep a terrier fit.Good sport

well im off out tonight still unsure wether im going to take the terrier or not and agree with westy my dad has a leggy stafford just now and hes had a few rabbits, unfortunatly my plummer doest work to well with other dogs

Anybody lamp with terriers other than rats?was out with the air rifle and lamp tonight and saw nothing got home and took the dog a walk took the lamp and saw two rabbits and a fox typical

Was out tonight for a shot and took my million candlepower lamp it's decent but not great only goes around 100m Looking to get a clu-lite sl1 for xmas anybody use these? Or can recommend ?

Sorry folks only noticed after I wrote the post that fox shooting was a no no, Iam shooting a shinsung career .25 anybody shoot these? Also any tips for shooting them rabbits would be great I have permission fora farm and a golf course and have a lamp but am by no means an expert
