  1. Lightforce enforcer & 10ah lithium battery

Both lamp and battery in good working order. Deben battery was £270 new. I'm sure the lamp was around 190 I had it sent over from Australia just before lockdown. It's the enforcer so has the better lead and task light which is handy for getting thru gates and hedges etc. Ive noticed These lamps are hard to get hold of now. Everywhere I've looked seem to be out of stock so grab it while you can. Its got to go i reduced the price.
    Can post at extra cost

Lol..it all started when men started to run scared instead of having the backbone to stand proud... Driving fields with a lurcher is not what a REAL dog man does.. nor does sneaking into lands where your not welcome...it's not just lurcher men I'm on about either... Just because you have a lurcher or terrier doesn't make you a dog man... Hound men some of the worst also.. yous all moan but, I could bet there is only a handful of men on this whole site that are actually welcome where they go... How many here are insured? How many on here lobby politicians...meet with MPs?  Be pro active.. work the land and quarry correctly with respect. Costs nothing to knock a door and ask..if farmer says no..wipe your mouth and move on..don't sneak back after dark, or stand and argue...98 percent of the people at the hunting couldn't run a bath never mind a dog.

If you've done all that and got stacks of permission I'd be very surprised.  I've tried the door knocking etc. And it's the same old story someone Shoots on here already.  Just gotta take ur chances these days and do what it takes to get dogs out and running game

Always work to a dogs strength, something it took me a while to realise , I'd bet your dog would find some trouble in cover if you put the time in ?

Dog was mad for the cover spent many a time following him thru brambles and whatever else was in the way to see what scent he was following.... Usually ended up at a tree where he'd followed a squirrel lol

I’ve got a vizsla but i don’t think she’s fast enough, it would be nice to have a lurcher or something but I was thinking of getting them with an air rifle

Mate I had a Weimaranar before I had a lurcher, was fascinated by him chasing rabbits but he never caught one. It did however push me to get a lurcher and that's when everything changed.   U need the right dog for the right job and unfortunately I don't think a viszla will do it but definitely look at getting the right dog for the job

1st x collie whippet is the way to go

Run rings around a bull x..

Don't mean to sound out of order but ive had 3\4 grey 1\4 bull. Was a good dog and caught a lot of things.  also Not owned but seen 1st cross bull greys and done every job put in front of them. SOo surely it's each to their own? Maybe you not been fortunate enough to own a decent dog or maybe been out with Shit dogs and got a bad view on them?

  6. Baits depend on where you are going to fish. Surf beaches like llangennith in s Wales you won't beat live razors, failing that lugworm fish well. Obviously ur sand eel and mackerel etc will still fish but They wouldn't be top of my list. Estuaries peelers crab, rag worm although I know of a 13lber caught in the river by me on a whole mackerel which coughed up a shad. Docks I'd use small rag, maddies or mussels. Not to clued up on artificials so really couldn't help there. Boat fishing I know they use the live eel a lot and drift sand bars etc.

Divining works on finding water and if it works in a digging scenario it must be the water in an animals body that makes it work.

The rods can be made from two wire coat hangers straightened out and then the last few inches bent to a 90 degree angle for each hand.

Held loosely they'll cross when over water. Anyone can do it, try it over a glass of water sitting on the floor.

What's more amazing is the true Diviners tool. It's a hazel Y cut about 18 inches long and when holding the two forks the straight part bends to the underground water. It takes practice and has to be seen to be believed.

With practice some lads can tell the depth of the water course but in the terrier game i'd have to see it to believe it.

Maybe underground water or moisture in the soil isn't as big a factor in France but here I couldn't rely on it to find a terrier.

    I wouldn't even chance it.

    Try it !

To begin, Find a drain pipe in your floor with two rods or outside in the ground.

it works for sure. ive seen it used by a cpl of old school workers on the gas to locate sewers, gas main, water main etc. pretty much any kind of void in the ground. never thought of it being used in this kind if work though lol

  8. is them crieffs noisey known my luck balls would be hanging out them at the first fence

I don't find them noisey mate and they are good on the barbed wire fence lol

Tried most of the deerhunter stuff succumbing to their marketing over many a season and their defo not for me! they take no abuse....

solognac 500 v hunt jacket and trousers.... the whole jacket and trousers set up cost you around £150.... had this 2 years now and was the best money i ever spent gets some abuse and still looks brand new, not sweaty and 100% waterproof and a great fit it doesnt hang like a butchers apron! its swedish ( i think) and the swedes old saying.... theirs no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing!

Tried a lot of boots too..and your feet have to be 100% dry and warm if you going to stay out all day with great support round your feet and ankles for walking through all sorts...hopping fences...and most importantly a great sole so you can jump all over the tools all day and not feel a peep!

I found out chainsaw boots suit my work best, very snug and warm and well tested by loggers in very hazardous work areas..and these are the best ive found

Tremme Aqua stop chainsaw boot they cost around £160 posted. have these 2 years now too, still like brand new and these defo take everything i throw at them with ease....

Water Resistant full grain leather with 'Aquastop' membrane lining means these boots are waterproof
