  2. Cracking Easter Weekend....

    Woke up this morning ill with hellish man flu. Took the grandkids and the dogs out for a good walk and it nearly killed me.

     

    Got two layers on, then lay in my wee suntrap (105 degF lol) still shivering.

     

    Had a curry and some lucazade and I feel much better now

     

    Motorbike run tomorrow,, maybe hit the borders for a nice day oot., No stalking tomorrow, so it`s like a day aff.

     

    Was going to do a bike run too but juniors feet have grown from a 9 to a 12 since last season so bike boots don't fit him.

    You don't need something the size of a small horse to take any game in this country. You want a big dog get a deer hound or wolf hound not one of them monstrostrosaties they just look slow and sluggish.

     

    And who says the owners of said dogs are not using them as part of a breeding programme to produce something that suits their needs. Bred to Saluki x Grey, then again if needed !!!! :thumbs:

    I spoke to a mate yesterday whom I had pointed in the direction for the quick release terrier couplings and leads to match. He was telling me he got his pickup stuck (L200) and tied 2 of the leads together ( using a snare tealer in the knot ) and used them to pull his pickup out using another vehicle, strong yes, handy, yes. :thumbs:
