  1. It is an Air Arms s310, better than s410 in my view for one fundamental reason, and a Browning B525
  2. Just my thoughts, not teaching anyone to suck eggs!
  3. A lot of hassle though! The ferrets worked well over Christmas, you might want to check the video, so I thought they deserved some fresh meat. Thanks for watching I think he meant give it the dog because the poor old bugger looks a bit lean. Oh I see, well its not my dog! She has food left out for her though, never see her without.
  4. Don't get me wrong, I would love to be able to have a dog. It's primal hunting with animals be it a dog, ferret or a raptor. I just don't have the time/skills to train one!
  5. You're not wrong! I do have a lab/collie cross and she's not gun shy but it's a LOT of hassle to get her up to speed. I did take her out once and she did point quite well and flushed some pheasants. But then she saw a squirrel and legged it after it! I couldn't go out shooting without a dog, wouldn't feel right. To many injured stuff getting away for my liking. You probably shoot a lot more birds than me! I don't really have that problem!

  8. Yes my Dad wasn't impressed with all the smoking, thanks for watching
  9. Works fine at my end ... EDIT: if you are using google chrome then you need to click the F in the top right and select 'allow flash from this site'
  10. Oh I see, I meant the ferrets are paying their rent to me for all the ferals etc i have fed them.
  11. I'm not sure what you mean? Thanks for watching! I am editing another one of my brother and me the next day. Stay tuned
  12. Yes we chose 20 yards to try and ensure that it showed the spread without shot going off the target, so we tested with some cardboard first. At further distances we would definitely need a bigger target!
  13. Yeah I think there is little doubt, plastic does gives you a much denser pattern, mind you if it's a close up pigeon and your not the best shot (like me) then the extra spread can be useful with fibre!
  14. The fibre just opened out a LOT more, I think that is the main difference you saw. I was surprised how dramatic the difference was in the end. I would still advise keeping to fibre if your hunting though it just isn't nice to throw plastic everywhere! Good luck with your patterning, before too long I will do a video about how to make the shoot and see targets. So if you sub you will see it
  15. I went out again Friday, not as good as Mondays shooting but still got 7 Woodpigeons
  16. Well to be honest, this was my first shoot with it. But looking at reviews on youtube with side by side footage of the sony and gopro the Sony performs far better. The only test it didn't do as well was under water. My main camera is a Sony HDR-CX700VE which is a very expensive handycam yet the little action cam seemed to outperform it with movement! If you look on my video you can see which camera I'm using as the handcam obviously doesn't have the barrel at the top of screen
  17. Trying out my new barrel cam. Seemed to work well and we got 34 woodpigeons!
