    Hi folks, I'm pretty intrigued by the hunting with falcons and was wondering what the requirements are.. courses, aviary, space needed, cost etc. As you have probably guessed i don't know much about it lol Thanks

    Thanks folks some magic advice and reassurance yet again. There are some mixed opinions and I can understand each point of view. Im afraid I have no option other than to mix the terrier with family and the kids have grown quite attached to him. Hopefully he will make the grade still

    Cheers mate. Mine is still young and not started working him at all yet. He is spoilt by the other half and sleeps in the hallway at night outside the bedroom. Never kept a working dog inside before but I cant imagine him being petted so much will ruin any working ability?

    In your opinion folks do you believe it's possible to have a terrier in the house as a pet that will also graft hard?

    Thanks for the responses so far folks. Its much appreciated. Iv not really done ratting before so its good to get all this info. Some great advice. I live in caithness Jamie mate. Im not aware of any rat packs here. I was speaking to a decent gamekeeper lad in Dumfries and he said the same about getting the dog out with more experienced terriers but like I said unfortunately its not a big thing up here.

    I have permission to use a few barns for rats and have been up a few times but not seen much but it looks a likely spot. I have a 10 month old patt and am keen to get him started. There's not many people rat up my way which makes it difficult as my wee fella doesn't get to watch other dogs to learn. Any advice? Cheers

    Tikka T3 6.5x55 swedish mouser with stainless steel barrel, 6x42 schmit & bender scope. Does everything other than rabbits which aint worth the cost of ammo. Cheers.

    Yea il see how he goes. Iv been to a few likely barns for rats but tbh I think its faar to warm for them just now. Any advice on how to bring him on? Thanks
