    is the new striker with buttons to vary the beam so crap? is it not as good as the old type with nob to adjust the beam?

    same ere pal not worth a carrot tightness off the beem wakn tightness of beam? cant you adjust them to narrow or wide beam?striker and tracer you turn the head to adjust the beam ye i knew ya could with the striker wasnt sure about the tracer, there seems a few lads not happy with the tracer.

    whats the new buttons on the striker to turn the beam up and down like? the nob you turned on the old one was easy to use and i think its the same on the tracer is this right?

    you'l be better off getting a leggy russell from working lines as thats all parson russells are "leggy russells" but the majority of them have been bred just for show over the last 20 yrs or so and the chances of getting a non worker are far greater than getting one from working lines, just my opinion of course...

    the battery is a 12v lithium and i was led to understand they dont wear out or weaken they just stop and im not sure the size of the bulb its got nee writing on it. im gonna try my mates lamp on my battery n see if its any better.

    can the bulb fade and or tire after time?

    dont think so BBB ive just cleaned the lens and give the bulb a clean but the reflector is in the sealed unit and shouldnt have any crap in there, same as the bulb really.

    i have a striker lamp as does my mate but my beam seems a dull yellow-ish compared to my mates what seems whiter and brighter than mine, ive had mine about 4 yrs so can it fade over time? cheers JE...

    phone the vet and ask advice as its only been done 1 and a half weeks ago with the gel and as its only 9 1/2 weeks old i would er on the side of caution.
